A few weeks back, I was asked by The Word Chef, Tea to take part in a survey regarding how solopreneurs market online. The infographic below will illustrate the responses from everyone that participated in the survey.
As solopreneurs, I think we often base our marketing on what we see others doing. And sometimes, because we see more of one thing or another, we erroneously make the decision that it must be working if everyone is doing it.
It’s nice to be able to see that just because everyone is doing it, doesn’t mean that everyone is getting good results. Or that everyone is happy with the results they are getting.
Maybe it’s time to try something new or to think outside the box with your marketing efforts. You never know, it could work. And I doubt it could hurt.
